Our story
Kolak Group Inc. is an educational consulting firm, specializing in professional development, coaching and support for those responsible for meeting the cognitive, social, emotional and/or spiritual needs of diverse learners.
Cynthia Cardenas-Kolak, Ed. D., is president and founder of Kolak Group Inc. She taught in public schools, K-12 and at the university level over a combined total of 30 years. She continues to research and independently consult while collaborating with the Bureau of Education and Research (BER), based out of Bellevue, WA. She has served as project director and manager for several training modules for the Texas Education Agency as both an independent contractor and a training specialist for Region IV Education Service Center, Houston, Texas. She also facilitates a peer support group for Adults with Asperger’s Syndrome and High-Functioning Autism.
